Before proceeding with the renewal process, understand the mandatory documents required to renew a Civil ID in Kuwait. The required document details for Kuwait Civil ID renewal are given below.
- Kuwait Nationality Certificate Copy
- Passport size photograph: 4*6 cm
- The photograph should be clear without wearing a mask and glasses and the applicant should be recognizable.

Kuwait Civil ID Renewal Process for Citizens and Residents
There are two options available to Kuwaiti citizens for Civil ID renewal. They can complete the Civil ID renewal process offline as well as online mode.
The online Civil ID renewal process is only available for applicants above 18 years of age. Applicants under the age of 18 will have to visit PACI offices for renewal of their Civil ID.
Applicants can visit PACI office in Zahra for renewal of their Kuwait Civil ID. If an applicant does not want to visit the PACI office, he/she can also fill out the online Civil ID renewal application.
